A Kyusho Breakdown

Several of the Shihans in Kyusho International pick a project of breaking down a Kata, many not in their own style. They perform the Kata, Breakdown self defensive applications, then work them into freestyle sparring. This is to help those that do Kata, realize that they too can accomplish more with their favorite forms as well as learn exponential possibilities in their personal Martial Art studies.

In this film, Anthony Rotella Kyusho International Shihan (PL-6) and Kyusho Jutsu Kokusai Shihankai (Rokkysu 6th Dan), has submitted such a project on Sanchin (pangainoon - Uechi version), for the breakdown. Shihan Rotella first performs the Kata ashe practices it, then breaks down the positions, postures and actions first into separate Bunkai. These Bunkai are illustraing the actions with the Tool, Target and Trajectory involved in the Kyusho application, as well as the demonstrated results. Then he takes the same static application and integrates it into a more freestyle sparring application, again with the same tools, targets and trajectories to obtain the same levels of incapacitation and altered conscious levels in the opponent.

Learn the application, the anatomy, tool, trajectory and see the affects in the private extended sections below.
