Zebra Mats - Mat LogoSimply Z Best

My introduction to Zebra was when I purchased a set of these mats in 1999.  They completely changed the way my school looked and increased the professionalism it displayed.  So much so that I also attribute a dramatic increase in enrollment as they not only looked great all the time, they were so easy to maintain.

There was also none of the odors you typically find in a gym or from a hard working Dojo, as the top quality materials used did not absorb them.   They also looked far better than the puzzle mats so often used, as the lines are clean in true Zen fashion.  But the greatest aspect is the safety and durability.

Folks at a True Kyusho School, their are constantly falling bodies, but what makes a Kyusho Dojo far different than an Aikido or JuJitsu Dojo is that there is no break-falls possible when you are physically dysfunctional and drop uncontrolled.  This may sound barbaric, but the reality is you can not claim skill if you do not use it realistically, that means high speed, spontaneous and demanding need... and subsequently some astoundingly dramatic knockouts or incapacitation.  Never did we experience a falling injury... we trust the Zebra Mats!

I have been recommending these mats as those originals are still in perfect condition... money well “Invested”.

New Sponsorship

I approached Zebra in need of new mats for the US Budo International Film and Photo Studio is now open.  We needed a mat that looked great, was durable, easy to clean and disinfect, the choice was clear.

As Kyusho Internationals Official Mat, you will see these appearing in photo shoots and films, produced for Kyusho.com, our Subscription Service as well as Budo International Magazine.
