Deeper Skills in Kyusho

Learning in close fighting skills is imperative as most fights escalate from the long range to a clinch rather quickly. Some folks do it from fatigue, or to try to stop the opponent from striking them, or as a strategy to control or take the opponent to the ground to subdue.
In any case the grappling skills are leveraged from the arms to the body, meaning that your arm and hand positions allow you to transition your body to advantage. They also act as antenna letting you sense the actions and reactions of the opponent as your sight is most times occluded. So if you can use them for leverage, positioning and monitoring, why not as a weapon and an attack. Also combined with the control or leverage to move the opponent, or dysfunction them allowing you freedom to move into the position that gains you the most advantage.
Beyond these great advantages also are the ability to dysfunction their movements, paralyze limbs, alter their consciousness or even incapacitate them fully.
