Conventional or Kyusho?
The lines now are clear, there are conventional Martial Arts and there are those that incorporate Kyusho.
After decades of discussion, demonstration and instruction, Kyusho is being more widely adopted by Martial Artists around the globe. But even with this great success there are those who still refute it is real, think it is impossible to use in reality or that just do not want to learn something new (even if it would enhance all of their arts and open many new possibilities).
Some ask what the point of studying Kyusho is... so I thought I would ask you here...
what is the point?

For me the point of studying Kyusho, is that it gives meaning to all the Kata and forms. It is the key, that
opens the door, to what the real Martial Arts is all about.
Councillor Harmann: No. No point. Old men like me don’t bother with making points. There’s no point.
Neo: Is that why there are no young men on the council?
Councillor Harmann: Good point.
Kyusho is the key that unlocks the door to truly understanding your art.
“I’m trying to free your mind, Neo. But I can only show you the door. You’re the one that has to walk through it.” ~ Morpheus
