4 Concussive's - Part 1

One of the more recognizable postures in all Tai Chi Styles is the Pushing Hands posture. But it’s not just for pushing, in fact they are very potent and focused attacks for Kyusho.

Concussion is not a simple metric as it comes in many forms and forces. From very focused, to more blunt trauma, to collision and others. And each of these forces have more specific targets in an opponent, that best suits its application.

With these 4 concussive applications, there will be several vital targets that are always available in a given situation. Obviously this is not a long distance type of attack, although. It’s Tai Chi Players use it to force greater distance. It is best applied in grappling range, be it standing or on the ground.
