It says that it releases emotions which can be a good thing , Is there a way to release emotions without severely striking GB 31 / 32 ?
Yes sir, it is the first health recipes well as in the First Aid program.
A great story before you do it… While teaching the GB-31 in France a couple of years ago, a boyfriend / girlfriend combo were working this together. Well the girl really nails the guy there and he passes out… we get him up and awake and he begins to cry uncontrollably. We get him stabilized and they begin working together again… well this time he nails the girl, she passes out and when revived begins her crying.
They both took the time out to sit and cry along the wall of the hall… sometimes that is the best relief, just getting it out… wouldn’t want to stop that.
Thanks, Great Story Doing the process now hoping to release trapped emotions , Thanks Again
That could also be taken care of with Body Electronics… to a deeper level.
I think there can be big obvious releases/reactions of emotions through activation of specific points, like in your example. IMHO many other points have the potential of shifting the mental and/or emotional balance in an individual too. The big reactions are the easier ones to see, yet what about the more subtle ones on their mental/emotional state? I’m not talking about the scenario of smacking GB-20 and they become semi or unconscious and the change is just physical in its presence, rather more around the idea that the quality of their values, beliefs or thoughts change moving forward, e.g., prior to the strike, they were perhaps stressed, angry but not expressing their boundaries. The strike along with the releasing changes their dynamics in how they now communicate to themselves and the world, not just as an immediate response to the strike but also longer after.
Thinking about this more, I think about the idea of the chicken or the egg…did hitting the point cause an emotion to arise (one that didn’t exist until then) and a consequential reaction to be released or was the environment already in place, just not acknowledged by the responder or the recipient delivering the strike?
This to me is also a part of what I consider as Kyusho.
In a way, Kyusho is a type of physical therapy, only that practitioners don’t necessarily know it.
Ahh and it is also a Chi Gong as the body is stimulated into greater neurological transmission both in sensory (mainly) and motor, which then too involves the autonomics.
Yes Kyusho is a total package that few see, just using the fighting application of ego or self empowerment limits it’s scope completely.
