Landing It

In the beginning of your Kyusho training, you need to take one target at a time and learn it in static application. However once the practitioner has gained enough skill in that target, they must move on to more dynamic applications, first scripted and then spontaneous. But there is where the challenge creates even greater enjoyment and satisfaction... Targeting Kyusho on the fly!

And this is where it can really get as fun as it is challenging as it has unlimited possibilities to apply. One in particular is KO on Demand, where two training partners are engaged in dynamic sparring, grappling, wrestling combat and one individual lands a Kyusho KO on the other, on demand from a third practitioner. As they are engaged, neither of the combatants are aware when the third person will call for the KO nor will they know what position they will be in. Now this type of drill must be practiced slow in the medium levels of skill, but brought to real time as the practitioners advance.

KO Applications

Let's take a look at each of the targets landed in these three applications to better understand what we were watching and hopefully gaining the ability in.

Learn the application, the anatomy, tool, trajectory and see the affects in the private extended sections below.
