Anatomy of a Hook Punch

Filmed and written for Black Belt Magazine and featured in the March 2003 edition of the magazine.

I always revisit old processes to validate and or refine them. In this Vlog we revisited the "Anatomy of a Hook Punch" using the anatomy rather than the old pressure point paradigm that the publications were all using (it was a FAD and highly marketable). However what was revealed in it's title was the Anatomy Paradigm, not a FAD, nor popular, nor even known by Kyusho pundits of the time and even today. So this new video explains the realistic Kyusho Targets, Trajectories all using the same Tool from Boxing style of Pugilism.

For those that work with Karate Kata, this serves to also explain the various first trajectories used in these Kata. The seemingly strange fist actions on Katas like Nai Han Chi, or Pinan/Heian 3 can readily be explained using these targets and or actions.

Learn the application, the anatomy, tool, trajectory and see the affects in the private extended sections below.
