Specifically The Closing Bow in Uechi Sanchin (but in all)

Lets look at the closed gate posture, also known as the bow. I mean you see it in every martial art practically. The opening (salute or respect as most philosophically teach it), can actually be incredibly powerful in combative need.

Now we're going to do it in several different ways (with infinite other possibilities confined only by the practitioners abilities). These few examples will be demonstrated in the anmimalistic styling of old Pangainoon Southern Chinese Kung Fu (Uechi Ryu), using the attributes of the Crane, Tiger and Dragon.

Crane Method (attribute) is a very outward transmission of Kinetic Energy, type of a an action. Relying on targeted powerful stabbing action, much like the stab of a Cranes Beak. This linear shooting power issuance penetrating into the weaker anatomical structures. In the closed gate this can be accomplished by bracing the target (head for this example), with one hand and penetrating in with a smaller sharp tool (middle knuckle) for deeper penetration beyond the surface protections on the other side.

In the Closed Gate of the Kata, they're both pushing in on each other, with the sharp knuckles of the outer Blood Pool Hand, digging into the the pad of my hand on the other side (the inner Blood Pool Hand).

By targeting the Facial Nerve root on the one side of the opponents head, we can cause great dysfunction, from simple pain to physical loss of control, to body collapse, into altered states of consciousness up to full unconscious collapse of the opponent.
