Between Health and Wellness?
Well a simple distinction is that "Health" relates to the physical state of being (being healthy from regular self effort),whereas "Wellness" relates to the corrective measures used towards maintaining or restoring your health.
Health and wellness are not synonyms.
Health refers simply to a physical body being free from diseases (Dis-Ease), but wellness is an overall balance of your physical, social, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, environmental or occupational well-being that must be consciously and subconsciously developed. It is a goal.
Wellness is also a lifestyle and is not an end to be achieved, it means that one strives and works for balance throughout their whole life through their own efforts as well as the assistance or cooperation of others. It is a journey.
Health is a goal one can achieve while wellness is a dynamic concept that continues for a lifetime.
In the Kyusho Health and Wellness program we have various methods by which you can maintain you inner balance, vitality, energy, peace of mind and the awareness of your own health as well as others.
Many people will select one aspect to concentrate on for increased health and Well Being, but there is a better way... a stepped and logical approach. That approach first addresses the Wellness aspects, using a specialized Kyusho Therapy method of nerve stimulation and sets of exercise that influence the peripheral and central nervous systems. It also stimulates lymphatic systems and restores lymphatic, circulatory, digestive, respiratory and muscle systems... which then impact the complete body and functionality for increased Health.
These processes when performed in the correct order and manner, also work to improve the physical motor skill attributes for greater stability, speed, endurance, strength and more.
Wellness is not masking health problems, it is allowing the body to optimize and correct itself to a younger time.
