Success 2014
As Kyusho expands in Asia, the first stop is Taiwan... and the pioneering efforts of Daniel Obon.
Daniel migrated to Taiwan from his home in Argentina only 8 years ago bringing with him his martial art of Taekwondo. This was not unique as many other schools existed, but with determination Daniel forged his path. 5 Years ago he found Kyusho... first learning on the internet and after making the commitment to really develop skill, made the long arduous journey from Taiwan to Portugal for that years International Kyusho Convention in 2011.
He did not accept the excuse of distance, difficulty or financial investment, all he knew is that he wanted to learn and bring the skill to help many others in his new country. And from that day forward he works relentlessly spreading Kyusho in his area bringing in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nicaragua with Mainland China and Japan in process.
After working diligently, Daniel traveled more to several more countries gaining the hands on training he needed to realize his goal. After several years of training and traveling, Daniel made his way to the first level instructor ship, (no quick masters here... real training and real skill was needed not just theory and book knowledge).
Not simply resting on that success, Daniel reached further working t continuously expand his reach to help as many people as possible benefit also from Kyusho. Daniel not only continues to travel, but also sponsor training clinics in his home country, each consecutive year as attendance steadily grows and develops. But it is not just us that has noticed his hard work and skill attainment as Daniel has been on many news and TV shows demonstrating his advancing skills. Just this year 2 more TV stations came to investigate his success and the world of Kyusho:
Kyusho International presents Horacio Daniel Obon of Taipei, Taiwan performing 3, 5 person attack scenarios: preemptive one at a time, all at once with the goal to contain and finally all at once with separation and random application. Daniel achieved his 2nd level instructor ship, with the following demonstration of the final public requirements... Far surpassing those of "master or expert" levels elsewhere.
We urge all to raise their standards and you to compare. Do not be fooled by rank or stature, look to who works hard for you by making you work hard for success!
This is Kyusho... not the typical Kyu-show...coming in the next post.
