So what is the correlation to Kyusho you may again be asking, well it was a premeditated attack against a weaker anatomical structure. The tool in this case was as the Bible states a "Smooth Stone" that struck Goliath, and actually killed him. David also quickly decapitated or beheaded him with his own sword after he fell. So as the Giant fell from the stone hitting his forehead, the blunt trauma would strike with such Kinetic force so as to cause concussion cerebral edema and also unconsciousness at the least. But the beheading not only made sure of the death, it also served as a message to the army behind him that all fled in fear.
Blunt transfers more kinetic energy (over a wider expanse), into the brain for longer time as the lack of an edge to deflect the mass on impact .
