This was excerpts from a Private Class that included Polarity, Sound Projection and Grappling from Nai Han Chi Kata.
Nai Han Chi is one of the few Bedrock Kata that encompass all levels of fighting and body mechanics. The mechanics in the realm of Kyusho are the all of the internal anatomical structures, their weaknesses, leverage against them as well as the bodies electrical systems strengths and weaknesses.
Another component of Grappling applications in specific is the use of compression over concussion. In close grappling as well as ground fighting, many times will not allow the full range necessary to launch a ballistic type of a strike, we need to understand the Compressive actions as well as the Polarity need to make them work on the ground (far different than standing positions).
