Sensei Euridice Roldan (our first and only Female Certifying Instructor... So far), successfully put together the largest Kyusho Course in Mexico to date). Along with the help of a long time CI, Dr.
Phase two of the advanced Kyusho curriculum was trained in Mexico City and received enthusiastically. We first departed static training in 2000 with the standardized Kyusho, curriculum and now have further evolved into the new reality of Kyusho. This by far surpasses even the prior training drill program that created thousands of more highly skilled Kyusho practitioners around the world.
We have now combined the simplicity of anatomical attack in accordance with the records of history. Yet synthesized this skill in unrestricted freestyle methodology.
Gone are set techniques that restrained or motion and in turn fluid transitional freedom spawned only by the necessity at hand. Response is automatic and natural for each individual, as they are unleashed from the restraint of style forced on their thoughts and actions.
Also stripped from the individual is the arduous thought processes needed to adapt a style or technique to indeterminable attack. Thus leaving only pure freedom of their natural motion to direct immediate and targeted response.
All the participants were put through a dynamic and grueling morning training that left them exhausted and soaked with sweat. This is sadly missing in Kyusho training world wide as most resort to static technique training.
The dynamics of this training included work on gross motor skills as well as offsetting stress related phenomenon that can paralyze the untrained.
The participants and instructors alike worked through the challenging morning program and were then instructed in the deeper anatomical structures and functionality effects.
This programmed training gives peak skill development and real world usability. And as always the instructional pedagogy is the key to individuals reaching their maximum potential.
And while Bunkai was not specifically taught, the entire training was related to conceptualizing their Kata or Forms (if practiced), to unleash their maximum potential and comprehension.
Special thanks to Dr. Alejandro Del Toro, who helped all the participants in sharpening their Kyusho skills, he also translated to make the instruction seem less.
There are so many others to thank as well as congratulate that Apologies must be forwarded for not being able to list them all.
Travelers from many states in Mexico arrived to take part in this special event... Thank you all.
I know all involved are looking forward to the next course in 6 - 12 months as Mexico works toward Kyusho proficiency and a top spot in The Kyusho worlds hierarchy.
Viva la Mexico!
