However this target is not known in most martial styles nor is it known or sought in Boxing. The Liver punch is known and sought in Boxing and has been utilized since the inception of the art, being highly efficient and devastating for the recipient.
What is unexpected about this target is that it seemingly lay on a strong anatomical area of the body, however there is a weakness that can be accessed even through heavy Boxing type gloves. By researching the anatomy and experimentation over decades, the proper trajectory and method of attack can to light. It should be mentioned however that the typical Boxing stance makes the target less accessible, it can still be obtained with practice anddeveloped skill, much like the Liver Knockout.
