This installment is working on the third segment of the juji-uki with sound projection and number 15 in the sound projection series.
For this target we will use the inward pull of the Juji-Uke hand position, as you saw in the blood chokes, by accessing the neural structures with sound as opposed to the blood path with pressure. This will cause a different affect, mainly being the instant dysfunction of the opponent compared to the slower number of seconds for the blood choke option.
This option can cause temporary blindness as did the blood choke, but not as severe in the lighter attack. Had we performed this neuro attack with a sharper force, the opponent would develop the temporary blindness. It is prudent to know the restorative measures prior to applying this type of force and it is the eye so be careful not to damage it in your training.
Working with the nerves this time, sound projection will cause instant reaction, whereas sound will not work with the blood. It works with the nerves because the nerves are are stimulated by the inner ear vibration that was caused by the sound projection.
